# Sticky Proxies

Sticky IPv6 proxies allow you to keep the **same IPv6 address** for a **defined period of time**.\
This is useful when you need consistency, such as staying logged into an account or maintaining the same identity across multiple requests.

**IP Stability**

Sticky IPv6 IPs remain **stable for the entire selected period**.

* The IP does not change during the sticky duration
* There is no automatic reassignment caused by peer disconnects
* IP rotation happens only when the configured period expires

**Establishing session**

To keep the same IP across multiple requests, you can use the session ID parameter. This parameter links your requests to a single IP for as long as the session remains active.

To reuse an IP, add the `session` parameter to your username with a randomly generated value between 0 and 999,999.

**Example:**\
`session-298366`

Unlike rotating IPv6 proxies, sticky IPv6 proxies do **not change IPs between requests**, making them suitable for use cases that require a consistent IP identity.

**How Sticky IPv6 Works**

When using Sticky IPv6 Proxies, the IP address remains **fixed for a defined duration**.

You can configure how long the IP should stay the same. Once this period ends, a new IPv6 address is assigned automatically.
