# Fair Usage Policy - Shared ISPs

To maintain high performance, reliability, and a consistent experience for all customers, we apply a **Fair Usage Policy** to our **Unlimited Bandwidth Shared ISPs Proxy Plans**. This policy ensures optimal network quality and prevents excessive usage from negatively impacting other users.

#### Why Fair Usage Matters

While our Unlimited Bandwidth plans do not impose hard bandwidth caps, fair usage limits are necessary to prevent network congestion and ensure stable speeds for all customers. Extremely high or abnormal traffic patterns can degrade performance across the network. Our Fair Usage Policy helps regulate such usage while maintaining premium service levels.

#### Scope of the Policy

* The Fair Usage Policy **applies only to Unlimited Bandwidth Shared ISPs Proxy Plans**
* Unlimited Bandwidth plans are **available exclusively for packages with 1,000 or more Shared ISPs Proxies**
* Metered or limited-bandwidth plans are **not affected**

#### Fair Usage Bandwidth Threshold Calculation

Each Unlimited Bandwidth Shared ISPs Proxy plan includes a guaranteed amount of **unthrottled monthly traffic**, calculated based on the number of proxies purchased.

#### Throttling Behavior

* Proxies operate at **full network speed** under normal usage (300-500 Mbps)
* If usage significantly exceeds the guaranteed unthrottled bandwidth, traffic **may be temporarily throttled**
* Throttling levels depend on ongoing usage patterns and network load
* Continued excessive usage may result in progressively reduced speeds until traffic returns to fair usage levels

#### Increasing Bandwidth Capacity

Customers requiring higher unthrottled bandwidth limits can do so by **purchasing additional Shared ISPs Proxies**, which proportionally increases the guaranteed monthly bandwidth.
