# SOCKS5 Port Range Configuration

Unlimited Residential also supports creating dedicated SOCKS5 port ranges, functioning the same way as HTTP ranges but for the SOCKS5 protocol.

This allows:

* fixed SOCKS5 ports mapped to specific locations
* use of SOCKS5 in systems that don't support credential parameters
* simplified integration for rotating or static location-based routing

To configure, select Add SOCKS5 Port Range, choose the desired location, and a port range will be generated.
